My weekend was bad.
I went on tour round Lithuania on Saturday. We crossed the border and our bus stopped for half an hour in town called Panevežus. I needed to change money, so me and Lilita went to the bank. The rest of our group went to the nearest cafe. Then we went to get take-away coffee, because we were short of time. As we were walking back to where our bus was parked, I saw some familiar-looking bus pass us by. As we got to the park place, our bus wasn't there anymore. Oops! They forgot us! And we weren't late. My bag was in the bus, but I had my cell phone with me. I tried to call someone from our group, but there was something wrong with connection, so I couldn't get through. Thank God I had a phone number of our travel agency, so I called them and they called our tour guide. But, the tour guide said they won't come back to get us! Can you imagine it! They were like half an hour drive away and just said No! She named the next city they are going to stop, so we had to get there somehow. We were lucky to find the bus station and next bus to Vilnius was in 5 minutes. In two hours we were in Vilnius, but now there was another problem: how are we supposed to find them? I was stressed, because the city is big- they can be anywhere and my cell phone is dead. Lucky for us I have been in Vilnius before and i knew where the old town was. A helpful woman lent us her phone and we called our guide. They were in St. Anna's church. I knew where it was and we finally found our group. We complained our guide that it was so irresponsible of her not to wait for us, but ahe was like " I didn't notice you weren't there!" She was supposed to check everyone by the list and she didn't. But what if something happened to us? What if we didn't have money to get to Vilnius??? I'm also shocked by the attitude of everyone else. The woman, that was sitting next to us, didn't even notice we were missing! The rest part of the trip was ok.
Sunday was a bad shopping day. I needed some warm winter clothes and just couldn't find any. How comes that stores are full of summer clothes and it's nearly december outside?
